Statue of Lenin, Kyiv, Ukraine
From Wikipedia: The Statue of Lenin in Kiev (capital), located in front of Besarabsky Market, was erected in the 1950s. The statue was damaged on June 30, 2009, when the nose of the statue and part of its left hand were broken. The statue was restored (at the expense of the Communist Party of Ukraine) and re-unveiled on November 27, 2009. Today it is guarded 24 hours a day by members of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
